I was upgraded to a reasonably spacious room with large balcony. The terrace served a great selection of meals for breakfast. The atmosphere created was quiet.

Location: the hotel was close to the Acropolis and the tourist restaurant and bars area and metro station which is 1-2 stations to historical center. The staff were very friendly, a real pleasure to deal with

Mc Queen Rooms & Apartments in Athens is a neat, modern hotel with well-trained staff. the location is perfect, just a short walk to local tavernas. the warm, brand-new room features a private bathroom, shower facilities, a hair dryer, and bath sheets. It's also conveniently close to the vibrant bars and clubs of Gazi, as well as various restaurants.

Never ever in my life I experienced such a friendly staff in a hotel in any city between Barcelona and Moscow! 1) Transfer from/to airport which was very helpfull in these days of permanent strikes in Athens; 2) Ideally clean, we felt like the first guests in the rooms (which we definitely were not); 3) Small and very nice breakfast although we had to leave very early next day; 4) New and good isolated windows guarantee you a quiet night sleep in the center of Athens; 5) Beds like in a 5* hotel, no doubt. Abt.400 Lm to walk to Keramikou district + underground station, 2 stations to Syntagma. Definitely the best hotel we stayed in Athens in last 12 years.

We have been at Athens, Greece, Mc Queen Hotel from December 8 till December 12; 2011. We like the hotel staff (all of them are wonderful lovely people and very efficient), we also like the continental breakfast, the room, the bathroom, all is very clean and all the facilities are the best. The hotel is a one year old new hotel, modern design and very comfortable. The only problem we have, for a mature couple, it is a 15 minutes walk to the nearest metro station. We highly recommend to stay in Athens, Greece, at the Mc Queen Hotel.
It is far 15 minutes walk to the nearest metro station.

It was very clean and brand new! We felt safe and welcome. We needed a place in the area and the hotel was a pleasant surprise. Very close to down town Athens and easily accessible. Easy to find parking on the street. Very spacious rooms and large terraces.

Room was spacious and clean. We were on top floor with a view of the Acropolis from our balcony; that was awesome. Breakfast was included, and they even delivered it to our room.
Not enough utensils in the too,. It would have been nice to cook on our room instead of downstairs. We did ave a microwave in our room.

The hotel's proximity to the airport and the hot water were the best parts of the stay. The room was cozy and clean. The hotel staff recommended a great restaurant nearby, which was helpful.
The area surrounding the hotel didn't feel very safe at night, so it was difficult to leave the hotel after dark. there was a lot of traffic noise, which made it difficult to sleep with the windows open.

The hotel has modern facilities, large room, large bathroom and a large balcony overlooking old Athens buildings. It has a nice court yard where the breakfast is served and where we usually got our internet link working. The staff is very helpfull and professional.
Not in walking distance from the tourist sites;located at about 10 min walk to the closest metro station. The internet did not work in our room on the 3rd floor.

The hotel’s location was perfectly situated near a blue metro line, the city center and the Larissa train station. the room was clean and comfortable, and had a little kitchenette. the staff was polite and knowledgeable, providing us with great recommendations for local eateries. the breakfast was delicious and could be enjoyed on the terrace with views of historical landmarks. the hotel facilities also included amenities such as wheelchair access, mini bar and room service.
The check-in process needed some improvement, as the hotel staff had some trouble taking a card deposit which caused inconvenience.

location. Have to say it is far from the metro station, not so easy to go to the city center.

We didn't like that we boodked in Plaka, close to the Acropolis, but ended in the Kastoriasstreet. The promissed WIFI was not mature and could only be used in de garden. After a day we found out that the location is good and it has a great potentential for the future. Our Greek friends where surprisid that we had chosen your hotel. From them we found out that the neighbourhood is almost trendy and it has lots of very good restaurants. I liked the restaurants in Gaze beter then in the Plaka. It is terribly noisy at night and the quality off the matrasses is not very good. At the side of the matras it is to weak. I felt out of the bed.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
